The PHYSIOstrap™ SPORT knee support is a knee and kneecap support for use during physical activity. It can be worn when you are experiencing pain to provide some relief for your knee, as well as a longer-term preventive measure.

In sport, there are many pathologies encountered around the knee: chronic patellar tendinitis, external tendinitis of the knee, patellofemoral or patellofemoral pain syndrome, knee wiper syndrome, patellar subluxation, external or internal patellofemoral chondromalacia… The list can go on... Sometimes, a period of rest can be suggested by the doctor or by the instructor and then it is the recovery… but the apprehension remains. The proprioceptive kneepad EPITHELIUMFLEX® 01 enables you to find serenity when practising your sport activity, while being forgotten.

FALSE! PHYSIOstrap™ SPORT is made of ultra-thin technical fabrics and weighs in at under 60 grams. Its lightweight, specialist design, and its silicone grip strips mean that the PHYSIOstrap™ SPORT stays in position no matter how active you are.

The PHYSIOstrap™ SPORT contains no rigid supports: it doesn’t provide enough support.

FALSE! The PHYSIOstrap™ SPORT has a supple EPITHELIUMFLEX® tendon that lies against the kneecap and limits its lateral displacement. Tests have shown that it is able to keep the joint properly aligned. What’s more, PHYSIOstrap™ SPORT was worn by 94 athletes at the National Institute of Sport, Expertise, and Performance between November 2015 and January 2017: perceived stability improved by 3.2 points after just 10 uses.

Using a knee brace is not a preventive solution.
